First of all, Tune-Yards now seems to be a band. Second of all, these women, her back-up singers, are the most enthusiastic, entertaining people at the Festival today. (Even more hype that Danny Brown.)

We’ll, they’re well-dressed and they have some of the deepest bass I’ve ever felt, but they seem to have left most of their energy and chemistry on the plane. Too bad.

Today’s line-up is pretty damn stacked. The fact is, four of my favorite acts of the last decade are playing today – St. Vincent, The Field, Cloud Nothings, and Tune-Yards, not to mention Danny Brown.
