There’s a vicious rumour amongst the photographers that there will be no photo pit time during the Lips’ set, due in part to his entrance in a bubble. There’s also a general consensus that blankets and chairs shouldn’t be allowed anymore, and no one’s even bothering to try to avoid stepping on them—the users of the blankets and chairs, that it is. Anyway, the Lips have a really big set-up, with extra lights, red mic stands, and workmen in bright orange and yellow outfits.
Across the way, the GB fans are shouting their asses off. I can only assume it’s because someone’s finally gonna play Billie Jean.
