P4K Begins

See, you don’t have to deal with the crowds, just watch Tortoise on the jumbotron. The legions of music nerds have gathered, the temp is a balmy 65, and John McEntire is playing a marimba. What a great way to start the evening. One lesson for future attendees: it’s already clear, don’t even think you’re gonna get close to the stage unless you’re willing to get here early and work for it. More soon.

Pitchfork Picks for Friday/Saturday

We’re a mere 18 hours or so from Tortoise taking the C stage at this year’s P-Fork.
