Needless to say, it’s really hot again. I’ve already been pleasantly surprised by the energetic openers on both stages. It's So Fucking Hot

I don’t know how hot it actually is, but it feels tremendous. The heat alone is destroying me. Anyway… The Liars are on-stage right now, proving that arty, drone-y, primal, noise-rock can be hypnotic and still thrash from time to time. What is there to say? The Friday night line-up is pretty damn strong. We’ve got folk-enchantress Sharon Van Etten (pictured above) and then The Tallest Man on Earth easing us into the festival with their folksy ways.
