I spent a good portion of Thursday night off the main campus, so the rockin’ was kept to a minimum. I did particularly dig Mobile, Alabama’s Wizzard Sleve, who put forth a scorching effort at Jaime’s. Their southern gothic punk hits hard, and the band found a bit of a frenzy on this particular night.
Also worthy was Brimstone Howl of Nebraska. Their’s is a high energy strain of punk as well, but with more of a traditional slant.
Having paced myself Thursday, I’m set up for an all-out finish to the second half of the festival. It will prove interesting.
